First of all: Best of luck with rabidfiles! It’s really a pity that your efforts won’t pay off as quick as aspected.
Hooligan is really funny, it’s really a recommendation for those who love some wtf stuff in their hentai-anime! But i’ve noticed that when i watched ep2 with the subs, the subs will disappear after 19-20 mins. I’ve tried to find other subs, but that won’t help. You should check after the subs

What media player are you using?
I’m using VLC media player in combination with freemake video converter to evade playback issues. I’ve tried another copy of Hooligan as well, but it results in the same subtitle issue.
Why not try the help I offer in the FAQ’s
I just went through and tested them again and subtitles play through on both episodes without any problems, I’m guessing it’s your media set-up causing the problems. Read over the FAQ’s, problem solved
I’ve just rechecked it (somehow after 2 months) and whilst checking on the subfiles from episode 2, i see that the file somehow ends at 19:31. The video however goes until 25 mins. I’ve never changed a thing with the subs as i don’t know how.
It has a few minutes of sex scene not subbed at the end, that’s it. I don’t know why they didn’t sub this part too but most of the time your saying it isn’t subbed is actually end credits, no real need for subs there. I have seen subs before where they just don’t bother to sub the sex scenes, could be what’s up with this one. Sadly you would have to take the issue up with the subgroup. It’s no real biggy in my books though, since they don’t generally say anything important in sex scenes and I generally don’t like the crap they do say.
